Ch. Asraf Gujjar Advocate is the earliest founder of Gujjar youth Forum (Regd),Pakistan and he started Magazine Nawa-e-Gujjar. He is the author of following books.
1. Gujron Ka Arroj o Zwal.
2. Musawr-e-Pakistan Kaun?
3. Urdu ki Khaliq Gujri Zaban.
4. Ch. Rehmat Ali ka Alan-e-Azadi.
He is also an analyst and columnist as Gujjar-Afganistan ki doosri barri quwat, Gujjar namely areas, socially, politically columns etc. On the world of internet his work is examplary to introduce Gujjars in real shape and he is the first person who read Gujri news on Ptv as news caster.
He was the first President of Islamabad High Court Bar,Islamabad.Now he is known as PML-N Leader, NA-48 Islamabad. . Muhammad Ashraf Gujjar, Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan, born on 14th July 1961 in a village of Sargodha, which is an agriculturally fertile district of Punjab Province, where his parents settled after migration from district Ambala (Indian Punjab), in 1947. He served against certain administrative and executive positions in few organizations after completing his studies.
HE JOINED ISLAMABAD DISTRICT BAR ASSOCIATION IN THE YEAR 1992. IN A SHORT SPAN OF TIME HE EARNED A GOOD NAME IN THE CONSTITUTIONAL, CORPORATE, CIVIL, LABOR & SERVICE ARENAS OF LAW PRACTICE.
Mr. Ashraf Gujjar has the extensive experience of appearing and assisting the Hon’ble Supreme Court of Pakistan, Lahore High Court, Peshawar High Court, Federal Service Tribunal, National Industrial Relations Commission, Punjab Service Tribunal, Wafaqi Mohtasib (Ombudsman), Labour Courts, District & Sessions Courts, Civil Courts, Magisterial/Criminal Courts and Revenue Courts, at his credit.
He was offered the position of Senior Vice President (head of the Legal Division) by the Board of Directors, Zari Taraqiati Bank Ltd., headed by its Chairman, vide letter No.HROD(R&A) /1(13)/2009/6069, dated 11-07-2009, but he regretted in view of his personal reasons. He was again offered the position of Executive Vice President in the said Bank but he regretted in view of his professional engagements.
Ch. Muhammad Ashraf Gujjar was elected as President of the Islamabad Bar Association on 5th January 2006. He has represented the legal fraternity of Pakistan in a number of countries of the European Union, which includes France, Spain, Switzerland and Holland. He has also traveled to the Saudi Arabia, U.A.E., Belgium & Austria. He is presently serving the Legal community as Chairman, Islamabad Lawyers’ Foundation (Regd.) and as General Secretary, Pak-France Bar Association.
In recognition of his services to the legal fraternity he was elected as Pioneer President of the Islamabad High Court Bar Association, on 9th June, 2011, after the establishment of the Islamabad High Court in pursuance of the 18th amendment. He served the legal-Profession in this position till 14th April, 2012.
In view of his expertise in the Constitutional, Civil, Administrative, Labour, Industrial, Corporate and Criminal Laws, his services are/were requisitioned, from time to time, by a large number of present and former clients including the following national and multi-national organizations and institutions.
1) Z. T. B. L.: (I)-
He was selected as Senior Vice President (head of the Legal Division) by the Board of Directors, headed by its Chairman, vide letter No. HROD(R&A)/1(13)/2009/6069, dated 11-07-2009, but he regretted in view of his personal reasons. (ii) -He was also offered the post of Executive Vice President of the Bank but in view of his representative position as Pioneer President, Islamabad High Court Bar Association, he regretted to accept the lucrative position in the Bank. However, he is serving the Bank as an Advocate on its legal panel.
2) AERO-ASIA AIR LINE:
As Legal Advisor, I have represented the Air Line before High Court, N.I.R.C., and other Courts of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
3) NATIONAL HIGHWAY AUTHORITY (N.H.A.):
He is extending his services to the Authority as an Advocate on its panel.
4) UNIVERSITY OF ARID AGRICULTURE (U.A.A.R.) RAWALPINDI:
As Legal Advisor, he has been defending the University before High Court, Punjab Service Tribunal and District Courts, Rawalpindi.
5) GROUP OF AVARI HOTELS:
As Legal Advisor, he has served the cross-world reputable Group of Avari Hotels.
6) PAKISTAN TELE-COMMUNICATION COMPANY LTD. (PTCL):
As Legal Advisor, he has defended the Company before High Court, F.S.T., NIRC & District Courts and presently extending his services as its Legal Counsel.
7) TELECOM FOUNDATION (T.F.):
As Legal Advisor, he has defended and represented the Foundation in different Courts of twin cities and Lahore.
8) ASKARI GUARDS (PVT.) LTD. (ARMY WELFARE TRUST):
M/s Askari Guards was represented by him before Labour & Civil Courts at Islamabad.
9) MINISTRY OF LAW AND JUSTICE, GOVERNMENT OF PAKISTAN:
